Porcelain Burst #219

This is an abstract painting, using an acrylic fluid technique. The dominant colors are various shades of pink and lavender, ranging from soft pastels to deeper, richer magentas, creating a beautiful spectrum within the purple family. These are intricately blended with soft grays, whites, and touches of black, providing strong contrast and defining the fluid forms. There are also hints of earthy tones, like a subtle orange or brown, peeking through in certain areas, adding depth and warmth.  There's a wonderful display of delicate lacing, where fine lines of color outline broader areas, and various sizes of "cells" are scattered throughout, adding textural interest.  The composition is centered around a vibrant, almost explosive core of interconnected swirls and cells, from which lines and tendrils of paint radiate outwards. The technique has created numerous fascinating details:

• The overall impression is one of intense movement, as if the paint is still in motion, swirling and expanding from a central point. This creates a sense of both chaos and controlled beauty.  The shapes are entirely organic and abstract.  The painting is captivating in its complexity and the serendipitous beauty created by the fluid art process.
