Rooted Impressions # 224 & 225 Diptych set

This is an abstract painting, using an acrylic fluid technique. The dominant colors are green, copper, yellow and gold which adds a metallic sheen and contrasts beautifully with the blues.. The distinctive characteristic of both paintings is pure abstract expressions in the presence of swirling, organic, and Cellular Structures, including the white pillows;there are hints of "cells" especially in the lighter and darker areas of the paint.   There's a strong sense of depth created by the layering of different hues. The colors don't simply mix, but rather marble and intertwine, revealing hints of underlying tones and creating complex textures within the smooth surface of the paint.
